THE BIRTH OF A NEW UNIVERSE
The Galactic Boutique: Store and Gallery is the love-child of artist, designer and overly - creative insomniac, Karl Fjellström. After getting a BA in Fine Arts, he started designing graphics for t-shirts and pillows and applying the technology learned in his 7th grade crafts class to make synthetic botanicals (thanks Mrs. Turner). After that it was if the flood gates had opened. Then Fjellstrom got this wild idea to use his skills for good and not evil retail. Thus the Galactic Boutique was birthed! As being an artist (first and foremost), Karl was intent on collaborating with independent and award winning design teams from all over the universe.
ONE PLANET: ONE UNIVERSE
There are a number of ways we strive to help our planet. we try to make the most of our resources. We also have a strict recycling program in effect and also feature items that are made from recycled or renewable materials: designer pillows made of last seasons t-shirts, holiday decor constructed with dis-guarded Styrofoam… even futon frames and mattress covers transform into art canvases for priceless paintings. We are just a tiny satellite in this universe, but encourage you to join us with your powers of resourcefulness. We believe in the FUTURE… and the only way to get there is together.
